The National Association of Heavy Equipment Training Schools is an organization committed to raising and maintaining the quality and standards of the heavy equipment training industry.

Through curriculum development and operational oversight, we empower our member schools to excel in training students and preparing them for a career as a heavy equipment operator.

NAHETS was formed in 2005 and has grown into an international organization.

NAHETS Member Schools are held to extremely high standards. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, including simulators, video training and more, our graduates are prepared for their career in heavy equipment operations. Each school is allowed to run their programs as best fit for the region, but the standards and quality are monitored by NAHETS.

Training is not where it stops though. Job placement assistance is equally important to a successful career in the heavy equipment operator industry. Our schools all have full time job placement assistance representatives on site that work with students one-on-one. There is also a career center with computers, printers, and fax machines to assist in the job search.

Corporate Partnerships are a vital part to the success of NAHETS. We can talk about ourselves all day long, but unless other companies agree that we add value to the industry, it means nothing. We are working in cooperation with Volvo Rents to provide students with high quality heavy equipment at our training facilities and to develop training videos as part of NAHETS Yellow Metal Boot Camp.
